We would like to thank you for showing an interest in our property and allowing us to assist in your search for a home. In order to rent from Apartment Exchange, Inc we ask you to meet the following requirements. If you are concerned about meeting these please check with one of our representatives.
All applicants must be 20 years of age or older, and provide a valid picture ID.
If you are renting an apartment you must have a verifiable gross income of 3 times the amount of monthly rent unless you are on a fixed income. If you are on a fixed income we require that you make twice the monthly rent.
If you are renting a house we require that you make 4 times the monthly rent.
We also require that you have good credit and rental history. We will evaluate your credit history. We do not accept co-signers to counteract a poor credit or rental history. We suggest one year of verifiable rental history from a non-related party.
You must see the inside of the property before you can apply for it.
Keys for most of the properties are available at our office. To take a key you must leave a $20 key deposit and bring your driver's license or a picture ID. We are located at 2203 S. Big Bend, Suite 102. Our hours are 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday, 10 to 4 on Saturday, and 11 to 4 on Sunday.
You must apply at our office in person. You will need a current photo I.D. and proof of income. To apply you need 2 separate checks or money orders, NO CASH. The first is for an application fee of $30 per person. The applicant must be over the age of 20. The second is for a partial security deposit that will be determined at the time of submission.
